And all finished! A little side project I decided to tackle after coming across that totally bitchin’ DC ladies fabric. Think I’m going to make a larger one for Fanime, as the little wristlet wasn’t quite as large as I anticipated once everything was all cut and batting was added. But I’m rather pleased with this little guy. Also: my first zipper. Yay! I got work done today!

My boyfriend and I run the online shop LiChWorks together, making custom cell phone cases, and to celebrate the opening of our new store, we have decided to hold ourselves a giveaway!

The winner will receive a one of a kind cell phone case, custom made by Chris and myself to your specifications! We can do any sort of phone, any character, the limitations are up to your imagination! We use upcycled comic books on hard plastic cell phone cases to give you something truly fun and unique! Pictured are examples of our work for friends, co-workers, and ourselves!

Well my boyfriend went ahead and opened one for the both of us! We’ve been making custom cell phone cases for ourselves and friends for a few months now, and have decided to go in together on a joint shop. Available now are orders for custom phone cases, which are covered in recycled comic book panels and sealed for longevity. We specialize in iPhone and Samsung Galaxy s3, but other phones are entirely doable! If you’re interested in a particular character/teamup/genre not pictured, let us know! We’ve got a heavy disposal of comics at our hands and are always willing to search around for you. (: 

For now we are limiting ourselves to just phone cases, but in the future, I may open up special orders for shoes as well.

Just realized I never posted these! Custom Marvel/Avengers pumps for my friend Alyssa. I wasn’t able to completely photograph these when they were completely finished, as they were already an overdue gift, but here’s the first shoe anyway! 

I’m thinking about opening an etsy shop for things like this, but I’m not sure if I have the time/dedication to stick with it. Plus the shoes get pretty expensive, and I’m uncertain if anyone would want to shell out for what I think these are worth. 

IN ANY CASE, these are looking better and better. (: Super pleased with the end result.
